Moonroof is an indie pop/pop rock band from Philadelphia featuring Dave Kim (vocals), Dan Rendine (drums), Kevin Randolph (bass), and Johnny Fordyce (guitar). Founding members Dave, Dan, and Kevin met while attending Bloomsburg University, where they played open mics and bonded over their love of bands like The 1975, Two Door Cinema Club, and The Killers. After college the band relocated to Philadelphia, adopted the name Moonroof, and began releasing music and playing shows across the greater Philadelphia area.

In 2018, Moonroof released their song ‘Honey Honey’, which has now earned over 1 million streams. They have opened for The Lumineers, Death Cab for Cutie, Grouplove, and Phantogram. In 2020, Moonroof signed with Philadelphia based label Free Dive Records and released their debut EP ‘Dream State’ in October 2021. The EP debuted as the #2 alternative album and #6 overall album on Apple's top 200 chart.

Following Dream State's release, Moonroof expanded their reach with performances at festivals and venues across the northeast and midwest. In November 2023 Moonroof released their second EP ‘TOMOS’. In 2025 Moonroof has a U.S. tour planned for the south in anticipation of their debut album releasing later in the year
